Ayomide Babatunde / facilities and building technology

Constructiontrained.Technologyfluent.

I coordinate operations across 50+ buildings at Florida A&M while finishing an MSc in Facilities Planning and Management. I'm aiming at the places where uptime is the job: data centers, smart buildings and energy infrastructure.

    01 About

Built environment first. Technology on top.

I started with a BSc in Building Technology from the University of Lagos, so I learned buildings from first principles: structure, services and how they fail.

Then I spent years in operations and technology: running vendor networks for Blue Nun Nigeria, helping construction partners adopt traceable sourcing at Watr Protocol, and growing a 100,000-user platform across Africa and Asia. I also built my own agency along the way.

Now I'm bringing those two halves together at FAMU, where I'm finishing my MSc in Facilities Planning and Management, coordinating a 50+ building portfolio, holding OSHA 30 and training on Tridium Niagara. The goal is simple: facilities and critical operations where construction, technology, AI and business strategy meet.

Say it right: AH · YOUR · ME · THEY

    02 Controls

Take the controls. Then break something.

A small data hall on a building management screen. Push the IT load, change the weather, raise the chilled water setpoint, trip a cooling unit or cut the grid. Every alarm can become a work order.

Every box on this screen is something I assess, coordinate around or am training on. Tap one to see what it does and where it shows up in my work.

Work orders appear here. When an alarm comes in, press "Create work order" on it.

    03 Systems

Every building is a system of systems.

This is the stack I work in, from the campus portfolio I run day to day to the data center work I'm training toward. Tap any platform to see what it is and where it shows up in my work.

    Pick a system 8 nodes

Each platform is a piece of a building I assess, coordinate around or am training on.

    04 Field record

Most of facilities work is quiet. It's the problem caught before anyone notices.
